Allison Green graduated from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in Fredericton with a Foundation Visual Arts Certificate and a Diploma of Fashion in Textile Design. She received a scholarship for student with the highest GPA in the Foundation Visual Arts Program for 2010-2011. Allison has received an award for excellence in woodworking, including woodcarving and proficiency with hand and power tools from Summerside Intermediate School. She has participated in four exhibitions.

From the Intern

In the hands-on realm of my college, I have had the opportunity to learn a great deal about sculpture and carefully planned design, but there is always so much more to learn. When I was made aware of your internship program, I realized it came at an opportune time in my career. While it would be a long time away from my home, it is a learning retreat I can’t very well pass up. Just when I have found subject matter that I am so passionate about, I have this chance to be immersed in the medium which captivates me so. I would be so excited to learn from these accomplished artists. I wish to know what they see in the stone and to help them unlock it.
