
Alison Gayton - Saint John
Alison was an intern with Sculpture Saint John 2012 and returned in 2014. She brings a wealth of training as an Applied Arts graduate in Political Science and Studio Ceramics from the University of New Brunswick and the College of Craft and Design in Fredericton. She is the owner of “I Love Saint John Pottery,” offering studio production, pottery instruction, and ceramic literacy. With some assistance from the New Brunswick Arts Board, Alison participated in multiple international workshops, including the International Workshop for Ceramic Arts (IWCAT) in Tokoname, Japan, in 2004. In 2013, she completed a Figurative Paper Clay Raku class with Lori Acott at La Meridiana, Certaldo, Italy, and Tuscany Study: International Stone Carving workshop with Stephen Shaheen in Carrara, Italy.
